Motorcyclin’s 2023 Best Looking MotoGP Bike.

Since Aprilia won last year’s competition, I was excited to follow the launch of Aprilia Racing Team MotoGP 2023, where they announced their ambitious plans to continue developing their project to be even more competitive in the upcoming season. For the first time, they will have four RS-GP bikes and four top riders on the track, all working towards entertaining and making thousands of Aprilia fans worldwide dream. So it does not hurt to be making sexy motorcycles (in the current scenario and rules) and winning the 2023 Best Looking MotoGP Bike.

Last season, Aprilia experienced impressive growth, with their first MotoGP win, eight podium finishes, and two pole positions. As a result, they were placed among the championship protagonists and battled to the end of the season for the most prestigious objectives in every category. Now, Aprilia Racing faces a dual challenge of confirming its potential in the championship battle and continuing to grow with more weapons in its arsenal.

The spotlight will undoubtedly be on the number 41 garage, where Aleix Espargaró will again be fighting for the championship after his fourth place last season, with more than one regret.

Maverick Viñales will also be a critical rider for the team, and his talent will now be able to rely on complete harmony with the structure of the team and the characteristics of the RS-GP.

The 2023 Best Looking MotoGP Bike x2

The evolution of the Aprilia RS-GP involved every single aspect, and their growth from a structural point of view continues. The racing department from Noale perseveres in its commitment to improving from an organizational point of view and in the technology the RS-GP brings to the race. The technical situation will be new for them, and they will have a second team to support and from which to draw meaningful information.

The race weekends will also bring some changes with the introduction of the Sprint Race, which will demand a specific approach. The new RS-GP is an evolution of the 2022 concept, with a numerical improvement of all the main aspects, and the development program anticipates further refinements throughout the season.

Overall, the launch was a great success, and I am excited to see how Aprilia Racing Team MotoGP 2023 will perform on the track.

Specifications of the 2023 Honda Transalp

Let us take a quick look at the specifications of the 2023 Honda Transalp that’s being ridden this week seemingly everywhere. I did pass over a really, really, really old Transalp when I was looking for a dual-sport last year, but there is no denying that the original was iconic. As a testament to the sheer quality of its build and timelessness of its design, many can still be seen on Irish roads today. This new one is a parallel twin with 67.5kW and 75Nm, throttle by wire and a whole host of electronics.

Let us take a quick look at the specification of the 2023 Honda Transalp that looks a little like the Ducati Dualsport from this angle.

Yo, what’s the weather like in Ireland for biking?

Having ridden my motorcycle here through my first autumn-winter every day (almost), I think I can provide an outsider’s perspective to the question, “what’s the weather like in Ireland for biking?” If you want the TLDR version, it is bloody challenging.

When I started considering returning to motorcycling in Ireland, one of the factors I needed to consider was the weather. You can read what I think new motorcyclists in Ireland shouldn’t do. As a cyclist and a pedestrian, I have experienced it for over a year and was well prepared for what to expect. Ireland is well known for its unpredictable weather, with rain, wind, and misty conditions expected throughout the year.

Learner’s Permit Vest

Irrespective of what license you plan on getting, be prepared to wear one of these L vests. This is the same one that I use, and I have been riding with it for about eight months now. I can vouch for its quality and you can buy it from your local dealer or the following Amazon affiliate link.
