The Motorcycle Road Racing classes for 2007 which have been announced. Interesting to note that the 160-250cc 4 stroke class is brought back this year after being dropped for 2006. This could be due to the fact that the Hero Honda Karizmas that run in this class have a more realistic competition in the form of the newly release Bajaj Pulsar 220 FI. This is a class open to anyone and not split between novices and experts.
The release of this classification also means that the much awaited Royal Enfield, RD350 and Superbike classes will not be running as a part of the National Championship. Rumours abound that these classes will be running in a separate junior championship, but not clear at the moment.
