Joe Rocket Meteor Women’s Gloves

This is Kavitha’s review of the Joe Rocket Meteor Women’s Gloves I gave her earlier this year.  She’d been riding with leather gloves and this is her first set of motorcycling gloves.

These are leather-mesh gloves that feels very light weight, cool and comfortable. Wore my red-black Joe Rocket gloves on one of the hot summer rides and liked the cooling effect it had on my hands. They act as a sun block and circulate air over the hands.

The knuckle vents and finger tip mesh work well letting the air through which keeps the hands comfortable, relatively sweat free and cool. The make of these gloves is of a very high quality with protection at the right places with ample amount of leather on the palm, fingers, top of the palm and on the heel of the hand. My hands were at a comfortable temperature inside the gloves not only on the highway, but even within the city with all the traffic, heat and pollution.

The gauntlet secures with a Velcro strip over the lower wrist for cuff closure. Additionally it has a thinnish Velcro strip at the upper wrist, for a more firmer, better fit. These impart a ‘don’t-come-off-easily’ quality to the gloves.

The Joe Rocket Meteor gloves are apt for touring and are a good balance between ventilation and protection. Owning a pair of these is worth the investment.
