We’ve loved the Yamaha FJR1300 for a long time and now offers riders an even greater overall motorcycling package as well as a superior ride quality thanks to Yamaha’s advanced electronically-adjustable suspension system in its sophisticated long-distance tourer range for 2014 with the addition of the 2014 Yamaha FJR1300AE. This new model, which sits between Yamaha’s FJR1300A and FJR1300AS in the range. FJR1300AS is the one with the clutch-less gear shift system and now the 2014 Yamaha FJR1300AE makes this system available to customers who prefer to have a standard gear box system.

Hero Impulse specifications is one of many posts that detail information about Hero Impulse. I have put up the details as seen in the Owner’s Manual provided with the motorcycle. I did look at the Hero Moto Corp website, with the intention of just linking out to it, but it is incomplete and erratic. Moreover, given that they may phase this motorcycle out, it makes more sense to have it here.

Hero Impulse Review – First look

Doing the Hero Impulse review, my first thoughts, since I took a good look today. There has been a great offer going on with some dealers wanting to offload some stock. Discounts have been varying from 10000-20000 based on your bargaining powers. Also syncing up with others to do a group buy has been the reason for some of the better discounts. I check out a friend’s motorcycle and it had been purchased in a neighboring state and along with a good deal, had costed way lesser than the Karnataka price for it.

Ducati 1199 Panigale wins at Red Dot Design awards

Ducati may not be lighting up the MotoGP grid on fire with well performing motorcycles, but the company is sure churning out some really beautiful motorcycles. Not sure how I missed this earlier, but the Ducati 1199 Panigale won at the 2013 edition of the Red Dot Design Award competition where 4,662 products went through a rigorous selection process. With the Bologna-based manufacturer clinching the award for the innovative motorcycle, has further underlined the company’s status as a design icon within the motorcycle industry.

Ducati 1199 Panigale Superbike will be exhibited for four weeks at the red dot design museum in Germany initially. Then it will be exhibited in Taiwan and, for one year, at the impressive red dot design museum in Singapore. The red dot design award is the only international award that boasts two dedicated design museums, in Germany and Singapore, thus giving further visibility and added credibility to awarded product designs. I love visiting museums that value design as a discipline. This will definitely be a place for me to visit, if I ever go to Singapore.

And man! Check this motorcycle out. I would gladly buy all my motorcycling gear on closeouts to be able afford something as beautiful!
