ThunderDuck highway ride in the cafe racer mode

A ride with the Bike Nomads, to a small water-body, the Shoolagiri dam off Hosur road. The first part of the ride ended at the Reliance A1 near Hosur, where the Rotarians who were riding along too, returned. A few of the others carried on and had a nice ride.

Added inspiration to ride was that the 6th round of the national championships was round the corner and this is the only time I would get to test out the café racer positioning of the clip on handle bars and the rear sets.

I smiled as rode in. Reached the place and found my friends and hung out at the parking lot admiring the huge turnout and the enthusiasm of the public. We were quite surprised to see a couple of old women as well. Not bad.

All this in the context of Emerging Economies and also because its the constituency of the then A.P Chief Minister, Chandra Babu Naidu. Other than that it’s just about any other village and if you were just driving through, would probably not even notice it.

Wild Wild Haven – A ride with the RDDreams boys

Landed up early at the start point, thanks to an early morning wakeup call. But sitting there in front of the Town Hall waiting for all to land up on that cold morning I was half wishing I were in a warm and cozy bed. This time around on a ride we had a complete range of bikes, from 150cc to 1,150cc; boxer, inline 4s, inline twins, large and small displacement thumpers.
