Taking the cue from the previous meet, the organisers this time decided to stick with the airstrip to host this particular meet. This is the best venue in Bangalore taking into all factors like accessibililty and crowd control ease.
The event is being organised at Jakkur Air strip, after Mekhri circle on the road leading to Yelahanka on 15th of June, 2003 starting at 0900.
The various classes in which the vehicles can run are mainly the modified classes. There are not going to be any stock class runs, in the 2 wheeler category. However there are going to be both Group N & Group A categories in the 4 wheeler class.
The event has been sponsored by Base Terminal, a battery manufacturer.

Its a shame really that in a competition like drag racing organisers fail to give out the timing slips to the participants and that they fail again in giving out the times to the press, which would give the interested public a good idea about how the progress has been from the previous drag meet.
Hopefully this is something that the future organisers will take into account and do something about.
