Weekend at Horsely Hills
The Madras Bulls initiated a ride who’s primary role was to go and negotiate the bookings for their club anniversary that is coming up in a while, at Horsely Hills. They did invite us all and the whole thing turned out to be a big party in itself with a large turnout from RTMC, Madbulls and V40, totalling upto 70 riders. Technical Partners
For 2007, Libra Racing will be the technical partners for the Group D CBZ. They will be taking over from my long time friend and mechanic Yousuf, Bangalore Motorcycle Works.
Libra Racing
Chennai based privateer team Libra Racing will be developing the CBZ for the group D Nationals for me this year. Run by Mr. Singaram, Libra Racing was a team in its prime in between 1984-91 when it won the maximum number of championships. The team resurfaced again last year, fielding the trio ofprivateer riders Emmanuel Jebaraj, Vinoth K and Deepak R. Between them they took, 2 wins and a second runner up spot in the National Championships in various classes.
For 2007, the team will consist of more privateers Abhijith Rao, Bala Vijay and Rajini P in addition to Emmanuel Jebaraj, Deepak R and Vinoth K. For this year, the team will be participating in the Group D 125cc, Group D 160cc, Group B 160cc and the Group B 250cc classes. All the classes are 4 stroke classes, with the team fielding the Hero Honda machines Glamour, CBZ, CBZ Extreme and Karizma.
