I have always been a fan of endurance racing, be it on 2 wheels or 4. Its one of the purest forms of racing where the rider needs to keep at it for hours at an end to come out on top. And, Suzuka! What a magical track! Even if you’ve only raced Suzuka in a video game, there is no way to not like it. So, this is a post to gather 2013 Suzuka 8 hours race videos into one place. Language no bar!
Which brings me to the Suzuka 8 hours race. Its a fantastic race which I would love to attend once before its gone forever. I followed this year’s race a little closer than other times since two of my poster boys, Noriyuki Haga and Kevin Schwantz were in it. And on the same team to boot along with Kagayama. Not a big fan of Kagayama, but for his helmet design. I’d love one of those.
But, as usual, getting the live telecast of this race is close to impossible. I found this string of videos on YouTube and plan to keep them here so that I can come back and see the 2013 Suzuka 8 hours race videos whenever I feel bored. All the videos are in Japanese, but I’ve found watching a race with the commentary in a foreign language is a relatively easy way to pick up words and a little of the language. And, you can never have enough of the Japanese form of introducing riders, they’re rockstars on lawn chairs!
